 Born
in Bristol, England. I lived in Bermuda for 2 years where I met
and married my husband Jean-Pierre. We moved to England. We then
had 2 children Jean-Paul and Chantal. We lived in Wiltshire, Berkshire,
Gloucestershire and Suffolk. We also spent one year in the Mediterranean
island of Malta. We came to Vancouver in 1975.We owned and operated 2 successful restaurants in downtown Vancouver.
I also do original pottery, decorating it with
my landscapes and favorite designs. |
Watercolors
were my first love, then acrylics and finally I added silk painting
to my repertoire. With silk, I can reflect my feelings about
the subject I choose. I love the colors and the vibrancy of
the finished paintings. On silk, I am able to capture the emotions
stirred in me by my favorite places - the Mediterranean, the
Caribbean and the desert of Arizona - and, of course, British
Columbia.|
