Wolfgang Pentzek was born on July 31, 1949 in Germany. He came to Canada in his early childhood. As a young man, Wolfgang began a lifelong study at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.
During his artistic studies he learned and developed several techniques including japanese water colours, paleolihic-style art and mythologiacal and orgin storytelling.
Wolfgang loved to work with childen at his art workshops and at presentations in elementary schools in Greater Vancouver and the Northshore.
In later life he gratuated from the Tooba Physical Theater Centre, and worked as a gallery manager. At the time of his passing in October 2005, he was fulfilling a lifelong dream by studying the "Alexander Technique".
